This gorgeous stately Native Oak Burl net is from an amazing chunk of a spectacularly figured burl I found in a Temecula, Ca. firewood lot. It was a fire-killed tree. There are over 20 man hours into creating it. The small inlaid copper & Kingman Turquoise clusters you see fill natural inclusions in the burl. The burl has 2 Cherry dowels running up its handle for added strength. This is one fine piece of fly fishing equipment! I created this sophisticated net to utilize this burl I harvested some 3 years ago, for its best and highest use.
